Carbon Based Lifeforms

CBL’s music is often described as immersive journeys. For more than two decades, Johannes Hedberg and Daniel Vadestrid have crafted a unique live expression, where organic soundscapes merge with pulsating rhythms and expansive atmospheres.

From unforgettable festival performances—such as the thunderstorm at Ozora 2007—to sold-out shows in planetariums, cathedrals, and even 80 meters underground in old iron ore mines, their concerts are about boundless experiences. Each performance creates a world where earth and space collide, with ambient textures woven together with hypnotic rhythms that linger long after the final note.

In the fall and winter of 2025/2026, they will spend time in the studio on various projects and begin work on a new album, which is set to be released soon. The first phase in 2026, under Leftfield Records, will kick off at home in Stockholm.

Practical Information

Bags up to A4 size (max 30 × 20 × 30 cm) are allowed. Larger bags can be checked in at the Södra Teatern cloakroom, which is open throughout the event. We recommend arriving early to make entry easier. Outside food and drinks are not permitted. Cloakroom available!

Kägelbanan is located adjacent to Södra Teatern, with the entrance opposite Klevgränd 7.

With limited parking in the area, we recommend using public transport. The nearest station is Slussen (exit Götgatan). Enter via Klevgränd from Götgatsbacken to reach Kägelbanan. You can also walk up Hökens gata to Mosebacke torg, cross Mosebacketerrassen, and take the stairs down to Kägelbanan.
