A Tribute to Kal P Dal

A grand tribute night to Skåne’s uncrowned king of rock, Kal P Dal!

Following their hugely successful performance in connection with the premiere of The Movie About Kal P Dal at Brygghuset two years ago, it’s time once again. Pedalens Pågar – featuring several original members from Kal P Dal – will take the stage at Kägelbanan.

With passion, joy of playing, and a rare drive, the band keeps Kalle’s classic rock’n’roll songs alive. After Kal P Dal’s passing, it took a few years before Janne Knuda and Janne Morge returned to the stage. But the audience’s hunger for the songs quickly grew, and in 1993 the band was given the name Pedalens Pågar.

The band is known for their high-energy live performances where the atmosphere quickly reaches a boiling point – it’s nearly impossible to stand still. They’ve achieved great success, not least at Sweden Rock Festival, where the Rockklassiker tent was packed to capacity. Kal P Dal’s legacy is stronger than ever – through Pedalens Pågar, but also via a musical and the widely acclaimed The Movie About Kal P Dal. The lineup also includes the charismatic singer Lasse Lindskoug, the brilliant drummer Niclas Andersson, and the legendary roadie Reptilen!

The evening will also feature a number of surprises!

Practical Information

We allow bags up to A4 size (max 30 × 20 × 30 cm). Larger bags can be checked in at the Södra Teatern cloakroom, which is open throughout the event. We recommend arriving early to make entry smoother. Own food and drinks are not allowed. Cloakroom available!

Kägelbanan is located adjacent to Södra Teatern, with the entrance opposite Klevgränd 7.

With limited parking in the area, we recommend using public transport. The nearest station is Slussen (exit Götgatan). Enter via Klevgränd from Götgatsbacken to reach Kägelbanan. You can also walk up Hökens gata to Mosebacke torg, cross Mosebacketerrassen, and take the stairs down to Kägelbanan.
