"Trailblazing musician and bandleader Max Pollak brings his signature blend of percussive dance, body percussion and vocals to the concert stage, presenting a mix original compositions and Cuban, American and Colombian classics.
His powerful ensemble of international musicians and singer-dancers blends jazz, tap dance, Afro-Caribbean traditions, and Latin into a dynamic experience, and they bring fire and fun to get the audience dancing in the aisles.
Max's extraordinary musicianship has put him on stage with legends like Ray Brown, Chucho Valdés, Paquito D'Rivera, Pedrito Martinez, and Danilo Pérez, and even classical superstars like Diana Damrau and Zubin Mehta.
A testament to his impact, Max Pollak is featured on the U.S. Postal Service Forever Stamp honoring Tap Dance.”
